Celebrate with dignity & decorum: Always strive to represent the ideals of our leader, The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Always remember Palestine, Yemen, Kashmir, Syria and Iraq.

May Allah (SWT) help us all.

It is related by Abdullah Ibn Abbas (RA), that on the glorious night on which The Holy Prophet (PBUH) was born: “The Kaaba was inwardly adorned with golden lamps from Paradise, and all creatures of the heavens and the earth, the youths and the maidens from Paradise, all created beings other than mankind rejoiced and gave each other the glad tidings. “Oh Muhammad,” they wished, “may Allah make you happy and always pleased, for there is no creature born with greater honour than you, and none that is more excellent. Never have the angels celebrated the birth of any created being as they now celebrate your birth into this world!”.

BEAUTY IN OUR WORLD. Muhammad Ali’s 50th Birthday: January 17th 1992, Whitney Houston sings ‘The Greatest Love of All’

By Kashif Ahmed

Veterans of the struggle will remember: Back in the days of The French Connection (I-AM-THE-WITNESS.COM), Darryl Bradford Smith had a section called BEAUTY IN OUR WORLD.

The idea being that because we’re consistently facing the worst elements of society (e.g. Rothschild bankers, Israelis etc); there needs to be something to remind us that there’s still some good out there too.

So here are two of my favourite people: Muhammad Ali and Whitney Houston: Ali’s legacy is great and that goes without saying: Its just a fact, you know it like you know your own name. But lets not forget the wonderful Whitney Houston: Really beautiful performance here; so talented, so at ease.

This particular event means quite a lot to me personally; because 1992 was the year I had the honour of meeting Ali for the first time: The day I met Muhammad Ali was one of the best days of my life, and I’m eternally grateful for having had an opportunity to have been in the presence of greatness.

There will never be another Muhammad Ali.

There will never be another Whitney Houston.

Give thanks then; that we were born in a time when we were not only blessed to participate in the great struggle to liberate Palestine. But were also blessed to have known real heroes and heroines. Blessed to have been born in the time of Whitney Houston. Blessed to have been born in the time of Muhammad Ali.
